Your Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara (2 Nights in Mara)
Morning: Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, then a scenic drive south via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint.
Mid-day: Arrive in the Maasai Mara in time for check-in and lunch at your lodge or camp.
Afternoon: An introductory game drive (4:00 PM – 6:30 PM) in search of lions, elephants, giraffes and zebras.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at your Maasai Mara camp or lodge.
Day 2 Full Day Exploration of Maasai Mara
Morning to afternoon: A full day game drive with a packed picnic lunch, covering the savannahs down to the Mara River. Spot big cats, hippos, crocodiles and large herds of grazers.
Evening: Return to camp around 5:00 PM for a campfire, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru (1 Night)
Morning: An early game drive or breakfast (6:30 AM), then check-out and depart north toward Lake Nakuru through Mau Narok's Rift Valley farmland.
Mid-day: Enter Lake Nakuru National Park with a brief game drive en route to your lodge for check-in and a hot lunch.
Afternoon: A game drive (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM) around the lake shores, Baboon Cliff viewpoint and the fever tree forests. Look out for the endangered white and black rhino sanctuary, Rothschild's giraffes, flamingos, waterbucks and the park's tree-climbing lions.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at your Lake Nakuru lodge or camp.
Day 4 Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha (1 Night)
Morning: A morning game drive (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM) visiting Makalia Falls or the acacia woodland, then check-out at 10:00 AM for the 1.5–2 hour drive to Naivasha.
Mid-day: Check-in and lunch at a lakeside resort or camp.
Afternoon: A boat safari on Lake Naivasha (2:30 PM – 4:00 PM) past pods of hippos and rich birdlife, followed by a guided foot safari on Crescent Island (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) among wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and waterbucks — with zero dangerous predators.
Evening: Return to the resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Lake Naivasha to Nairobi Drop-off
Morning: A relaxed breakfast overlooking the lake, with an optional visit to Hell's Gate or Crater Lake Sanctuary.
Mid-day: Check-out at 11:00 AM and begin the return drive to Nairobi.
Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi by 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM for drop-off at your hotel, residence or airport.
